Association Members.
The East Tower Association (commonly known as the ETA) is East's volunteer student committee that operates within the college. The team is made up of a number of positions, filled by standout members of the East Tower community who are elected annually by their peers. The members of the ETA aim to give their residents at East the best college experience possible by organising the social, sporting, environmental and charity events throughout the year. Significant events that the association organises each year include (but aren’t limited to); O-Week, Commencement, Pirate Week, Worlds Greatest Shave, IH vs. East Annual Rugby Game, Promposal Week/Best Friends Week, End of Year Ball, etc.

Residential Mentors.
East Tower is a self-catered college consisting of a variety of living configurations including studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 5/6 bedroom shared apartments, all situated on each of the seven floors. On each floor there is a Residential Mentor (commonly known as an RM) who is selected and employed by the University for their outstanding leadership and involvement in both the University and East Tower community. The RM’s are in charge of supporting the wellbeing of East residents, assisting in the transition to independent living and providing generalised support.
